Shahrukh Khan, who has worked with many young heroines like Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, says that Kareena Kapoor was his first youngest heroine. The duo worked together for the first time in Ashoka. Though the movie failed to make any impact at the Box-Office, their on screen chemistry was loved by many. Shahrukh said in an old interview, "There are many close friends and actors that I've admired. Juhi (Chawla), Sri Devi, Hema Maliniji, Kareena are kind of my first ones, in a certain sense, like I started off with my first film directed by Hemaji. My first outstanding guest appearance was with Sri Devi. I did my first film with Juhi Chawla. And Kareena is my first youngest heroine I've worked with." Kareena Kapoor also loves working with King Khan. She says, "I've known Shahrukh and Gauri (Khan) for years and they are very, very dear friends of mine, so just working with Shahrukh is the most pleasurable experience."
